Terms and Conditions
1. The British Business Network ("BBN") Awards 2020 ("the Awards") will recognise one BBN member nationally in Award Category 1 and Award Category 2:
Award Category 1: Resilience during COVID-19
Award Category 2: Business relations with the UK
2. The BBN Awards 2020 will recognise one BBN per the four states with a BBN presence (Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland) in Award Category 3:
Award Category 3: BBN support
3. The Awards are organised by the UK Department for International Trade ("DIT"), Australia and New Zealand.
4. Individuals need to meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Awards:
a. Be a current BBN Australia member;
b. Be nominated by another BBN member or by themselves;
c. Demonstrate that they fulfill one of the award category criteria (see the award category tab for more information on the criteria).
5. Nominations for the Awards will begin at 2.00pm AEDT on Monday 1 February 2021 and will end at 23.59pm AEDT on Monday 1 March 2021 (“Award Nomination Dates”).
6. Winners will be announced on 31 March 2021 at the BBN Awards Ceremony.
7. The prize package for each winner includes:
a. A plaque stating the award category they won;
b. Award branding which can be used in email signatures or on their website for one (1) year from 31 March 2021;
c. Recognition for winning the award on official DIT LinkedIn and Twitter channels, the DIT newsletter and the BBN newsletter.
8. By entering the Awards, applicants consent to their name and photo being shared on social media channels and in the BBN and DIT newsletters.
9. By entering the Awards, applicants understand that their submissions will be reviewed by our judges against the other nominations.
10. By entering the Awards, you agree that if you win you will participate in any promotional activities or material, without additional payment or permission, as we may request.
11. We are not liable for any damage, loss or disappointment suffered by you for taking part or not being able to take part in the Awards.
12. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, we may alter, amend or cancel the Awards without prior notice.
13. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time.
